  • Be Yours & Have the BEST Valentine's Day of your life!

I’ve been on every end of Valentine’s Day – in love, in unrequited love, broken-hearted, single & sexy, single & lonely and performing in a restaurant filled with couples trying desperately to have the most romantic evening of their lives. And collecting the cumulative experiences into one well-rounded observation, I conclude that there is one definitive attitude to have on Valentine’s Day. Be Yours.

Decide right now, no matter what your current relationship status is, that you will first and foremost ‘Be Your Valentine’ on February 14th. I will bet my bottom dollar (and I don’t like betting that), this mindset will change this holiday forever. And for the better.

"Dance is the hidden language of the soul." - Martha Graham

In celebration of how profound dance has enriched my life, each Thursday I post a GoddessLife Dance Video of the Week. Enjoy and keep dancing!

This week is an underwater belly dance performance. Yes, I did say an underwater belly dancer and Ariela Mizrahi is truly belly dancing underwater in Eilat, Israel. This video was the winner of the Epson Red Sea 2010 underwater video clip category.

    Playlist Two: L'amour Romantique Valentine

  • GoddessLife Favorite Dance Video Thursdays - most romantic dance performance

"When you are dancing, it's a love affair, between you and your partner and the music."- Frankie Manning

In celebration of how profound dance has enriched my life, each Thursday I post a GoddessLife Dance Video of the Week. Enjoy and keep dancing!

For upcoming Valentine's Day, this week I chose the most heavenly romantic dance performance I have ever seen. This dance number with Cyd Charisse and Gene Kelly is overshadowed by the many other famous scenes in the movie, "Singing in the Rain." You can wait a lifetime, but there will never be another dance performance like this: the veil, those legs, the chemistry, the emotion. Divine.

  • So, You’re Thinking about Performing a Bellydance Show for the First Time?

I would bet my bottom dollar that since the moment you began taking belly dance classes or practicing with DVDs, you have heard this question: "When are you going to perform for me?" Who could blame them? I could watch belly dancers 24/7 and feel like a kid on Christmas morning with each and every shimmy.

Women wrote me so often with questions about performing a bellydance show for someone special that I included a bonus segment on The Goddess Workout: Intro to Bellydance entitled: "How to Bellydance for Your Man". Recently, I have received so many inquiries about the names of the song and on which CD is the track that I taught or performed a routine on my Goddess Workout DVDs. So darlings, here in this blogpost, I have listed all the Goddess Workout DVD routines, name of song and # of track from which CD…and a link to listen to clips and download your desired song.

  • Cleopatra as a role model and what lessons can be learned from how she lived her life

Cleopatra is arguably the most fascinating woman who has ever lived. The Pharaoh is so captivating that at least 2000 years after her death, there are nearly 200 films, TV movies and documentaries and almost 4000 books written about her listed on Amazon.com! (This compares with 1200 books on Marilyn, 300 written about Madonna and 150 about Coco Chanel). I devour anything and everything I can about Cleo, from documentaries on the History Channel to archaeological articles sent to me online by a friend.

Why? What makes a woman that lived so long ago still irresistible after all this time? I would examine her extraordinary life from a new perspective: Cleopatra as a role model and what lessons can be learned from how she lived her life.

I divided her fantastic biography into four "Cleotes" and how we can apply these quotes and lessons to our own lives.

  • GoddessLife Prescriptions for Radical Self Care Guidebook

How to make everyday a GoddessLife – free & easy ways to turn the turn the ordinary into extraordinary, the faded into fabulous and the dreary into darling!

I must confess that my eyes do not always see the world through glittery-cupcake-flavored-rose-colored glasses. Honestly, it’s exigent to feel like a Goddess when I am overworked, down with the flu or filing my taxes. And there isn’t an actual place (I’m sorry, but Facebook doesn’t count) to file my grievances, such as, “Why can’t I sleep on a bed crafted from real cotton candy?” or “Pay for my groceries with smiles???” But I do find it liberating to know that it’s absolutely my prerogative to cry into my pillow every night or find my sparkly bootstraps and start pulling. The awareness that my happiness and outlook on life depends utterly, solely and completely on little ole moi is unbelievably empowering.

  • The GoddessLife way to Cleanse

Oh January, here you are on my doorstep again. Every year you barge into my house like some prissy, judgmental loan shark to claim all the guarantees I made to you in December. Ok – so, I made them to you in November, too. Yes, I am aware that I ate an entire cheese and cracker plate all by myself at a holiday party. Honestly, is it a big deal? And I have not forgotten all of my ridiculous promises I made to you that included going on a major cleanse as soon as you arrived. But January, I am going to make you an offer you can’t refuse.

I’m a Goddess and we are notoriously terrible at cleanses. The last time I drank water with lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup; I had a ghastly headache, felt totally deprived and ended up going on the cupcake cleanse. Cleanses are typically aggressive, severe and strict. These are masculine traits. If I am going to do a cleanse, the process needs to be feminine. In other words, it will require nurturing, pampering and gentleness. These are all aspects of femininity. Fortunately, I have the perfect solution!

  • How to Keep Your New Years Resolutions All Year

Say it with me: "This year I'm going to transform my life from mundane to magical by not only writing down my New Year’s Resolutions, but actually following through with them." Easy enough, right? For some, but for most people, the easy part comes in the writing of them, not the doing.

How many people do you know resolve very year to tone their bodies, lose weight, exercise more? And how many people actually do it?

Ah yes, therein lies the rub....

  • My Secrets to Get Back into Shape after the Holidays

*** I’ll admit it. I took the chocolate road to happiness this Fall. After a series of personal traumatic events, I let myself go and my buns of steel turned to buns of marshmallows. I stopped exercising and was breathless after a 15 second lap dance for my boyfriend. It was perfectly normal for me to eat a cupcake for breakfast. I never thought it would happen to me, but it did. I was out of control and completely out of shape.

  • A Fresh New Way to keep your New Year's Resolutions

Yep, it’s true; I am a rebel. My defiant nature has nothing to do with politics or the law (for the most part); but if you said I was an nontraditional girl, you would be right on the money, honey. I am honestly bored by doing things the way they have always been done and most importantly, they don’t seem to work for most people…especially moi. But please don’t misunderstand and assume that I am pessimistic priss or against the concept of tradition. I believe wholeheartedly in the basic human need for ritual, hope and goals.

So, when the New Year’s roll around and the internet is flooded with all the tired ideas of how to kickstart your rezzies, its not that I am in opposition to the notion of people setting goals, I just think those tired thoughts should be, well, (re)tired.

  • Happy Winter Solstice – This celestial dance shows us how to re-ignite your inner-light

“What’s the big deal going on in the sky?” you ask. It's the Winter Solstice combined with a New Moon in Capricorn.

So? This rare occurrence signifies an opportunity for BIG personal transformation. The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year and marks the darkest point of the sun, after which the light begins to return and the days become longer. Add the New Moon to this picture and now the sun and moon are both at their darkest point – making for an extremely long and dark night.

What does that mean to me? Click here to read entire blog & find out!

  • Create a Nom de Voyage while traveling this holiday season

Many of you will be traveling this holiday season to visit family or friends (or what my friend calls framilies) and I recommend you adopt a "nom de voyage"  - for the car ride, plane flight or for your entire trip. A nom de voyage can come in handy to entertain your kids on a long car ride. Tell your kids you can't respond to their multiple questions unless they call you Goddess of the Car, Queen Candy Cane or Miss Zhu Zhu. It will make your whole family laugh every time they say it and give every one a delightful boost. It can also aid in the loneliness if you are not traveling and cannot be with your loved ones.

  • Teaching Conan O'Brien to bellydance on live TV

I was at the US Embassy in Kuwait when a producer from the Conan O’Brien TV show called early one Tuesday morning. She asked, “Would I fly 6384 miles to appear on his late night show that Thursday?” “Absolutely,” I answered and packed my suitcase. I have appeared on literally hundreds of TV shows to promote my fitness, bellydance and women’s empowerment books and workout DVDs. I’ve shimmied with Regis, undulated with the women on The View and taught Carrie and Miranda on Sex and the City to awaken their Goddess within.

  • How to Select and Serve a Bottle of Champagne and open the Bubbly Safely

To my sheer horror, I found out last night that one of my most glamorous and chic friends did not know how to open a bottle of champagne! This unpleasant discovery was made when the loaded weapon was pointed right at me: she had removed the wire cage (that goes around the cork) and the naked cork was aimed precisely in my direction while she aimlessly chatted about her most recent romance.  I tried to remain calm as I diverted a total catastrophe by quickly snatching the bubbly from her and putting my hand over the cork. After accusing her of the crime, she confessed that she did not know how to properly open a bottle. I realized at that moment - if she does not know how to open a bottle of champagne - then there must be so many other lost lambs out there! So, in my mission to make the world a better (and safer) place for Goddesses everywhere: here are the guidelines of how to properly select, open and serve a bottle of champagne.

Dom Perignon was a Benedictine Monk who is often credited for accidentally inventing champagne. As the story goes, after tasting his creation, he said, "Come quickly, I am drinking the stars!"

  • Pay Women Compliments

Years ago, a pretty woman in her twenties, approached me after I finished a bellydance show and asked me if she could ask me an unusual question. I must interject here that after I perform, I consistently receive an unbelievable assortment of questions and compliments: hilarious, flattering, way-too-personal, rude, and repetitive—you name it, I’ve heard it. I try my darndest to be polite and utter a quick thank-you but I often use one of my worn-out comebacks that I should really retire. I am aware that bellydance is provocative and some people are unsure of an appropriate response. But I digress…

  • Happy New Moon & Solar Eclipse!

New Moon & Solar Eclipse today! The moon is in the sign of Sagittarius and combined with the solar eclipse, this is a powerful aspect. What does it mean?

New Moons signify rebirth, beginnings, a clean slate, the start of a new cycle. This lunation is a more potent New Moon, as it is a Solar Eclipse, and represents a new beginning in the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius. It's a time when we can focus on some of the constructive traits of the sign of the Archer--optimistic, enthusiastic, adventurous, honest, outspoken, independent--and consider how to positively incorporate these qualities into our lives.

Darlings! It occurred to me last night that I've been a terrible hostess – I invited you to the GoddessLife party and then dashed into the other room, distracted by upcoming projects and now here I am just returning to the revelry. Where are my manners!? Fortunately for all of us, the gala has just begun and it is going to be the greatest bash you have ever seen, one that you will never want to leave.

My wish is to give you more of what you desire and need as a Goddess living in this ordinary world.  I was thinking of all your provocative questions, clever suggestions and willingness to share your deepest desires and personal experiences that contribute to the newsletters. I am pleased as punch when I’m writing the eGoddess news, that I long to give you more. Sending it out each month has made the world seem a smaller, more loving place. And all you Goddesses? • When you don't FEEL like a goddess...

I will be here for you when you don’t feel like a Goddess. Let me be your mirror. I am here to lend a hand so you remember that you are.

Even the most confident woman has days when she doesn’t believe she is a Goddess. Every now and then these thoughts creep up after a painful break up or when you’re overworked, ill or financially strapped.  Other times it’s unclear the precise reason. You can’t seem to help but feel antisocial, invisible, insecure, over-the-hill, out-of-shape, unattractive, powerless, lost or insignificant. When you are being hard on yourself and thinking unkind thoughts, I am here to help you see how exquisite you truly are.

  • Lunar Lover's Delight: September's Harvest Full Moon is Coming!

Over the next few nights, the moon will be well placed for observation as it moves towards full moon on Sunday night (Sept. 12). This month's full moon is special, because it is the Harvest Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. Because of the location of the sun, Earth, and moon this month, the nearly full moon will appear low in the southeastern sky for several nights in a row, which traditionally has allowed farmers an extension of daylight during the critical time of year when they are harvesting their crops - which is how it was named.

  • Treat yourself to a delicious, fun and fabulous class you always wanted to take!

Sign-up for a class you’ve always wanted to take

While I was at my favorite coffee shop this morning, I read an inspirational story about a woman who simultaneously turned 100 years old, graduated college and crossed the last thing off her bucket list. A bucket list is the 100 things you want to do before you “kick the bucket”. Her story and my second cup motivated me to want to write my own list. However, the copious amount of different things that I desire to do and accomplish in my lifetime flooded my mind all at once and I nearly imploded. I mindlessly grabbed a Community Center class schedule from a stack of newspapers and magazines and thumbed through the classes that ranged from photography to massage to knitting. I noticed that I kept thinking page after page, I’ve always wanted to learn that. But then my mind resisted with the typical excuses: I don’t have time (it will get in the way of procrastinating), I will be terrible at it (and everyone will laugh at me) and its too extravagant to take a class that serves only one silly purpose (because I want to).

  • Tips to Surviving a Break-Up

I’ve been on both sides of a break up. I’ve been dumped, cheated on, neglected, ripped-off, lied to and longed for someone to change. I also have been unavailable, a total dork, immature, angry, stupid, possessed by PMS and completely rude. I’ve been in relationships that endured years and infatuations that lasted 10 minutes. The fact remains the same, regardless of the circumstances: Break-ups. Are. Painful.

Goddess knows I don’t have all the answers, but these are my Top-10 ways I have survived a break-up.

  • Dream Jobs - Do what you love for a living and be a cubicle refugee!

I love my job! It’s crazy, but I adore it more than breakfast in bed. And that’s saying a lot! GoddessLife headquarters is an unconventional workplace that I created by doing what I love to do: dancing, dressing up and empowering women to discover their own path. I found my purpose in life, but it wasn’t always this way.

I was fired from my last job of six years.  My boss sat me down over his 18th espresso of his day and started on his tirade by telling me I was a "wild pony".  I was about to say, "thank-you" when he interrupted me with his thick Greek accent to yell at me dramatically, "You are ruining my life" and proceeded to let me go.  Yes, I was bellydancing and technically doing what I loved to do.

  • Bloom where you are planted - How to find a career mentor

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, I knew how to do everything included in my job description. I was a bellydancing at a Moroccan restaurant and teaching bellydance classes. My days were filled with obsessively making bellydance costumes, searching for new Middle-Eastern music and rehearsing.  I made some extra money by selling my Goddess Workout video to my dance students that I recently produced. Then, a student, who was a writer for Sex and the City wrote about The Goddess Workout into an episode. Suddenly my life changed. I was in business. I mean business, as in becoming incorporated with stockholders, officers, lawyers, accountants, spreadsheets and an account at Staples. I was thrown into an alternate universe with aliens who spoke a bizarre language. I needed a guide to navigate the new strange world…I needed a mentor.

  • Happy Hour

Happy Hour. The literal phrase is delightful. The concept is brilliant. The saying is a completely American invention created during the 1920’s prohibition era. The slogan was used at speakeasies (another great phrase) to denote drinking before dinner.

Yes, it is true that the idiom is usually associated with cocktails after a stressful day of work. However, this fact doesn’t mean that you must become inebriated in order to create a happy hour for yourself.

There are millions of other things you could do with that time that would bring you joy.  I have listed 10 ideas below, but I would love to hear your ideas.  Write me and tell me what you would do with your happy hour. The point is to carve out an hour to let your hair down and devote it to your own happiness.

  • Super Moon - Magical Moonlight

Have you been reading all about tonight's special Super Moon? In celebration of the bodacious, beautiful, bright, silvery Goddess, I am re-posting my "Magical Moonlight" blog from May 2008.

While I was driving home tonight from my bellydance gig in Malibu, I was so enchanted by the glow of the Full Moon and the illuminated path it created on the ocean that I nearly drove off a cliff! I began to think about how staggering the influence the Moon has on Earth: twice a day, it makes the waters of the oceans ebb and flow.  It takes about 1,500,000,000 horsepower for the Moon to drag the tides across the Earth each day. Sheesh, that's a lot of power! Scientists (those cuties with the white coats and coke-bottle glasses) say that our body is made up of 95% water. With all this power, the Moon (also known as Luna) must affect us, too, no doubt.  Perhaps which is why we attribute craziness and wild behavior to the Full Moon with the term: lunatic.

  • The Goddess of Pampering: Elizabeth Arden - Pioneer of the Beauty Industry & Yoga!

I am deeply grateful for the woman that gave us the gift and tools for pampering!

Her name is Elizabeth Arden & positively every woman in the United States used her creams, perfumes and cosmetics, including Marilyn Monroe. Elizabeth was an unstoppable powerhouse created absolutely everything what we know today as the $150 billion global health and beauty industry.

She was divinely inspired (obviously) when she opened the first modern day spa and beauty salon. In 1915 she began franchising these temples to beauty called The Red Door that are still in fashion today! She also formulated and manufactured her own cosmetic line and used modern mass marketing techniques to bring her products to the public. Additionally, she introduced the concept of the "makeover" in her salons. A true visionary, she also pioneered restorative exercises based on yoga – nearly 100 years ago!

What a woman! She was a true luminous visionary whose products are still relevant today. Click here to read her entire inspiring story.

  • How to Select and Serve a Bottle of Champagne and open the Bubbly Safely

I've received many requests to repost this blog - and I would never deny my darling GoddessLife Goddesses wishes. Happy 20&HEAVEN!

  • Happy Winter Solstice – This celestial dance shows us how to re-ignite your inner-light

“What’s the big deal going on in the sky?” you ask. News articles all over the web have been reporting the rare celestial paring of the Winter Solstice (longest night of the year) and a full lunar eclipse tonight. It’s so exceptional that NASA reports it hasn’t happened in 456 years and the next one won't come around again until 2094.

So?      This rare occurrence signifies an opportunity for BIG personal transformation. The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year and marks the darkest point of the sun, after which the light begins to return and the days become longer. Add the full lunar eclipse to this picture and now the sun and moon are both at their darkest point – making for an extremely long and dark night.

What does that mean to me?     Basically, the idea is that when things seem really bleak and dark, it is often our biggest opportunity for personal transformation.

Today in the Bahamas, New Zealander William Trubridge, accomplished what had long been regarded as an impossible feat: swimming to a depth of 100 meters, or 328 feet, on a single breath and with only hands and feet for propulsion. Trubridge named his long-planned endeavor Project Hector to raise awareness for Hector’s dolphins. This species of dolphins are the littlest in the world and face the threat of extinction, largely because of indiscriminate fishing methods and pollution.

  • Instant Glamour: The Art of Wearing a Wig

As a bellydancer, I am no stranger to wigs, but I didn’t consider myself an expert until I visited the holy temple of uber glamourous wigs (Fifi Mahoney’s in New Orleans). Imagine a showgirl’s heaven: a little boutique in the French Quarter of New Orleans with glitter, rhinestones, wigs and feathers everywhere! Autographed photos to Fifi of Marilyn, Bettie Page and Jayne Mansfield line the walls above the heads of wigs of every color in the rainbow. The window display has a pale blue glittery wig with a cupcake in the center!

  • GoddessLife Panty X-Change - BURLESQUE Style!

Today was my 6th annual GoddessLife Panty X-Change and we did it Burlesque style! What you ask is a GoddessLife Panty X-Change? And how do you do it Burlesque Style? Well, relax, pour yourself a delicious beverage and let me tell you the entire ridiculously fabulous story.

It all began 6 years ago when 4 of my dearest girlfriends and I desperately longed for more panties. We are all burlesque dancers, bellydancers, hula dancers, cheerleaders and addicted to lingerie. We wore panties while we performed, in classes at my dance studio (The Goddess Center) and for fun. We actually needed them. Once you feel nice knickers on your body, its impossible to return to ordinary undies. Trust me. It was a problem of the highest magnitude; it was a thirst we could not quench. Something must be done! After much research, concentration and meditation, the idea was born that would solve all of our problems and fill our drawers with adorable drawers. For the Winter Holidays, the gift that we would give each other would be panties. AKA: The GoddessLife Panty X-Change.

  • Woman uses dance to heal child prositutes

Using dance as psychotherapy, Sohini Chakraborty is helping former child prostitutes regain their sense of self.

In 1996, Sohini Chakraborty was walking in Kolkata when she came across a wrenching poster: a photo of a child prostitute staring listlessly at the camera, with the caption "I am no more bride-to-be, no more mother-to-be, no more future-to-be." The poster, which was outside the office of a local nongovernmental organization (NGO), was part of an antitrafficking campaign in India, where about 1.2 million children are believed to be involved in prostitution.

I have been on a journey of healing and extreme self care. My friend treated me to a wonderful gift of going to a spa. While deep in relaxation during a hot stone massage, I heard Sea Siren (the first track of Spa Goddess). I did not realize immediately that this was the CD that I produced. Just as I described this music years before, I was transported to a world of divine luxury, tranquility and rejuvenation by the subtle melodies infused with ocean sounds, soothing flutes, strings, and light percussion!

  • Have you been tempted by The Apple?

Just like Eve, I have eaten from The Apple
…and now there is NO turning back!

This phenomenon is happening to millions of Americans and it can happen to you, too. I have taken a bite of The Apple and now I am thoroughly smitten with their technology and products. I am tempted by every new release. I am holding their latest irresistible fruit: the iphone 3GS. I never have regrets, though. It is surprising how much more attached I become to each new product or latest generation. My life has become utterly dependent on its technology.

  • Do you love your job? - Do what you love and love what you do. March 2010 Newsletter

    Dear eGoddess Community,

I love my job! It’s crazy, but I adore it more than breakfast in bed. And that’s saying a lot! GoddessLife headquarters is an unconventional workplace that I created by doing what I love to do: dancing, dressing up and empowering women to discover their own path. I found my purpose in life, but it wasn’t always this way.

Today I was reminded of the zany and unbelievable events that led to me to the creation of my company. This morning began with squeals of delight as I entered my office to find it revamped into a showgirl’s dream. I hired a designer to add some simple shelves while I was away for a week teaching a workshop. I returned to find she painted the shelves with opalescent paint and covered the sides with rhinestones. She draped fabric from the ceiling and removed all filing cabinets. All files, documents and books were placed on the gorgeous shelves. I couldn’t help but rediscover all my diaries that had been tucked out of sight for years, like the journals I kept when I lived at the infamous Chelsea Hotel in NYC. I pulled them off the shelf and began to read. I was brought back to the time in my life when I was lost and looking for direction. The following paragraph is the paragraph I wrote in my diary the night I discovered my career path:

  • The Cairo Chronicles - An American Bellydancer who Moves to Egypt to Pursue her Dream

Aleya is a phenomenal bellydancer in Cairo. She tells fantastic stories of rubbing rhinestones with famous Egyptian bellydancers and having snake charmers serenading outside her apartment because they think she is a wealthy Saudi. But the most amazing part of her life’s story is that she is an American bellydancer who decided to live her dream and move to the heart of the bellydance world.

Aleya and I go “way back” as dancers. I had the honor of dancing with her when we were both performing in the restaurants and clubs of Los Angeles.  As a bellydancer, it is one thing to be respected by Middle-Easterners living in the United States, but it is entirely different story to perform in the Middle-East.

I believe that dreams should not be just dreams. The way I see it is that dreams aren't made for sleeping on. They visit with purpose. And yet, I know how difficult it is to follow our dreams.

I am so inspired by Aleya pursuing such a bold dream, that I asked her to tell her to write her story and share it with us. Enjoy The Cairo Chronicles and let her motivate you to do what you love and love what you do.

  • Bloom Where you are Planted – How to Find a Career Mentor

Patiently I waited for the equivalent of the 'Career Fairy' to come down and appoint me a divine mentor. But, as I came to find, these types of relationships take chemistry, synergy and trust, none of which happen overnight.

  • Guilty Pleasures

As my phone rang tonight, I found myself saying those nasty four little words, “ I really shouldn’t, but…”

You see, I have a vintage pink rotary phone that’s cord only reaches the fake fur rug on the floor next to it.  To speak on the phone, I have to lie on the rug. It’s decadent in The Valley of the Dolls kind of way. I knew it was my best girlfriend calling and with all the work I had to do, I really shouldn’t have, but… I indulged in one of my favorite guilty pleasures and talked to my friend, on the rug (meaning, no multitasking) for two hours!

Afterwards, I didn’t care how behind I was on my spreadsheets I was supposed to have prepared for tomorrow. “So what” I said to myself, I can stay up late, or get up early, or, even *gasp* not finish them.  Indulging in my guilty pleasure made me feel so bad, I felt good.

We all have guilty pleasures – some that would embarrass us to admit – but should we feel compunction about them? If watching trashy TV shows, eating at fast food restaurants or googling your ex can bring us so much pleasure, then why should it create remorse?

Isn’t it tiring trying to be perfect and to always do the right thing? Isn’t there something to be said for the occasional dash of depravity? There is! Not everything we do needs to be productive, lead to a cleaner house or the betterment of humanity. In actually, doing something for the sheer amusement of it is reason enough.

So, go ahead, eat a gram or two of saturated fat, crank up that cheesy love ballad on your car radio and splurge on something ridiculously expensive.  And remember, sometimes, tabletops are for dancing.

  • Mercury is Going Retrograde - What Does That Mean?

Fasten your seatbelts; it’s going be a bumpy ride from May 27 to June 19. Mercury will be going into retrograde starting today, taking us for a wild ride for the next three weeks. Be prepared to get lost, run out of gas, arrive at your appointment late, spill coffee on your favorite skirt, misplace your files, fight with your boyfriend and leave with a parking ticket. Sound like oodles of fun? It’s unfortunate that you cannot stop Mercury from going retrograde, but there are some tricks to help you survive during this time and possibly even learn some things!

  • Magical Moonlight
