Dear eGoddess Community,

I am seated on my throne a the holy temple of uber glamour, otherwise know as the adorably divine boutique called Fifi Mahoney's in New Orleans. Imagine a showgirl's heaven: a little boutique in the French Quarter with glitter, rhinestones, wigs and feathers everywhere! Autographed photos inscribed to Fifi of Marilyn, Bettie Page and Jayne Mansfield line the walls above the heads of wigs that come in every color in the rainbow. The window display has a pale blue glittery wig with a cupcake in the center! Now mind you, as a bellydancer, I am no stranger to wigs, but I feel a sense of a reverence as I await my stylist to return with several hairpieces just for me. I came here with a purpose during my holiday in New Orleans: to create my "nom de voyage".
