In celebration of how profound dance has enriched my life, each Thursday I post a GoddessLife Dance Video of the Week. Enjoy and keep dancing!

This week because of Valentine's Day and she was the Goddess of the Month in the GoddessLife newsletter, I chose a dance number by Marilyn Monroe. We have all seen "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend", but most people have seen this particular dance routine by Marilyn. It's called "Heat Wave" and its from the movie "There is No Business Like Show Business". As always, Marilyn is a treat to watch - and for us girls that are addicted to costumes: I simply adore the combination of black&white flower print on the outside and hot pink ruffles on the inside of her skirt. Also, I love the waist detail...you can see it a little in the production still to the right, but you will see what I mean in the video!
