Let's stop glorifying busyness & Let's spend more time be-ing & not doing

Let's spend more time be-ing & not doing (one of the big lessons I learned from having lupus and a herniated disc in my cervical spine). Do the things you will remember at the end of your life - and it wasn't skydiving, traveling or checking anything off a "bucket list" but the time spent with friends & family, time you felt content, serene and peaceful with your life, tending to the garden of your soul, slowing life down And being LOVE! stop glorifying busyness and just BE - wherever you be!!

I agree so much! We are human BEings, not human DOings.....everyone is so overbooked, overstressed, overworked, and in such a stinkin' rush today, not PRESENT in life and missing SO much! I refuse to buy into the insanity! Chill and live fully in the moment!

Two separate times last summer....I was the only person who was looking up at the sky (NOT looking down to a cell phone, ugh!) looking at the most amazing HUGE double rainbow! People walking, all around, looking DOWN! OMG! No one noticed the rainbow!!!! It's getting pathetic! Sad!
