Every time I perform (I just got off stage) people ask me what do I eat to stay in shape.
Truth is...weight loss/gain is pure & simple math: calories in = calories burned.
I am not suggesting you count calories. I am sharing with you my chosen lifestyle. Dancing is a great cardio workout & cardio is what burns calories. Effortlessly. I can sweat for hours on the dance floor (or in my living room) and enjoy every moment, but minutes feel like hours on a treadmill.
Darlings, I cannot tolerate such boredom in my workout or what I eat!
As for what I eat: I am a vegetarian (but I'm friendly:) and like to eat healthy foods that taste good (this pic is a homemade pizza with zucchini & tomatoes grown in my garden) AND I have wicked sweet tooth & like to indulge in champagne, wine, margaritas, cupcake martinis, other martinis, scotch & basically all cocktails and sugary treats. I eat what pleases me & I burn it off by dancing. Oodles.
