  • Let the healing waves of Love flow over you this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

The final eclipse of the year, is opening a portal within and without, letting the deep healing, cleansing waves of Neptune  into the depths of our soul.

After the burning and purification on the last New Moon Solar Eclipse 1st September, Neptunes healing and spiritual waves of love will heal, soothe and nourish our very soul. The Moon represents our emotional needs and who we are at a deep down soul level. We are remembering who we really are.

Our inner Shaman is once again being activated in us all. The part of you that connects directly to the true source of the universe. Who teaches us how to stop living from the ego, and start loving your true, authentic self. Who, intuitively knows where our mind, body and spirit needs healing and which path to take, that will take us to the next evolutionary level of our development. Helping us to reclaim our lost power to heal, see the truth, and fulfil our purpose in life.

Within you is a greater, wiser self that knows no fears, worries, but is infinite and boundless.

  • Only once in a Blue Moon -btw, what is a blue moon?

Tomorrow's Full Moon (at 9:58am) - will appear full tonight and tomorrow night is a BLUE MOON!

Sounds rare, but what is a Blue Moon?

Technically - back in the good ole days when we followed the seasons of the year and the farmer's almanac, a Blue Moon was considered more than 3 moons per season or more than 12 moons year, but now it is commonly thought of when there are 2 Full Moons in 1 month. Regardless of the definition, it IS SPECIAL!

This Full Moon occurs in Pisces, opposite the Virgo Sun.

  • Happy Full Moon

On Monday, a Full Moon occurs when the Cancer Moon exactly opposes the Capricorn Sun. The Cancer-Capricorn polarity deals with the balance between the private life, domesticity, the need for a home base, and nurturance (represented by Cancer) versus the public life, career, reputation, and accountability (represented by Capricorn). Attachments and love are ruled by Cancer, while achievements and rewards/punishments are ruled by Capricorn. In some ways, this polarity deals with the balance between unconditional love and conditional love.

  • Lunar Lover's Delight: September's Harvest Full Moon is Coming!

Over the next few nights, the moon will be well placed for observation as it moves towards full moon on Sunday night (Sept. 12). This month's full moon is special, because it is the Harvest Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. Because of the location of the sun, Earth, and moon this month, the nearly full moon will appear low in the southeastern sky for several nights in a row, which traditionally has allowed farmers an extension of daylight during the critical time of year when they are harvesting their crops - which is how it was named.

  • Super Moon - Magical Moonlight

Have you been reading all about tonight's special Super Moon? In celebration of the bodacious, beautiful, bright, silvery Goddess, I am re-posting my "Magical Moonlight" blog from May 2008.

While I was driving home tonight from my bellydance gig in Malibu, I was so enchanted by the glow of the Full Moon and the illuminated path it created on the ocean that I nearly drove off a cliff! I began to think about how staggering the influence the Moon has on Earth: twice a day, it makes the waters of the oceans ebb and flow.  It takes about 1,500,000,000 horsepower for the Moon to drag the tides across the Earth each day. Sheesh, that's a lot of power! Scientists (those cuties with the white coats and coke-bottle glasses) say that our body is made up of 95% water. With all this power, the Moon (also known as Luna) must affect us, too, no doubt.  Perhaps which is why we attribute craziness and wild behavior to the Full Moon with the term: lunatic.
