Tell me what you want...your wish is my command!

Tell me what you want...your wish is my command!

Darlings! It occurred to me last night that I've been a terrible hostess – I invited you to the GoddessLife party and then dashed into the other room, distracted by upcoming projects and now here I am just returning to the revelry. Where are my manners!? Fortunately for all of us, the gala has just begun and it is going to be the greatest bash you have ever seen, one that you will never want to leave.

My wish is to give you more of what you desire and need as a Goddess living in this ordinary world.  I was thinking of all your provocative questions, clever suggestions and willingness to share your deepest desires and personal experiences that contribute to the newsletters. I am pleased as punch when I’m writing the eGoddess news, that I long to give you more. Sending it out each month has made the world seem a smaller, more loving place. And all you Goddesses? I feel like we're all kindred spirits, spread all over the world.

I decided to create an ongoing weekly blog just for you. My aspiration is that you look forward to it each week, giving you a weekly dose of GoddessLife in between the monthly newsletters. Where the mundane world of responsibilities melt away and reading it leaves you feeling replenished, empowered and inspired.

But where to begin? I have a plethora of ideas and I've always been a bit frustrated by women's media - I feel like we're constantly being labeled into ridiculous mutually exclusive categories:

Fancy Ladies Who Drink Champagne and Buy Expensive Lingerie or
Mothers Who Want to Be the Best Mothers, but Also Have a Life or                                                              Hippie Vegetarians Who Travel and Want to Save the World or
Career Women Who Want to be Independent and also be in a Relationship

And I'm a little bit of all those things! And so are most of the women I know! So why do so many blogs seem to be aimed exclusively at one group of women? I surely don't know. Because I'm equally interested in seeing the world, saving the world, wearing cute panties and throwing good parties. And surely I'm not the only one, right?

This blog is for us Goddesses that want to live life on our own terms. I want to know what you want to read about in the weekly blog? Do you want to read an interview about a woman living her dream job or saving the world? Discuss Goddess relationships? Hear showgirl performance stories? Recipes? Costume of the week? Learn new dance moves? Fitness tips? Astrology? Panty of the week? Let me know what you desire and I will write it and serve it to you in bed on a silver platter each week, just like you deserve.

Thanks so much for all the ideas and questions, darlings. GoddessLife thanks and believes in you!

Ooh, I'm so excited that you'll be updating the blog regularly now! I will definitely look forward to it each week. :)

Being a goddess who loves to cook, I'd definitely like to see some recipes (your cupcake martinis were great!). I love to dance as well so dance moves would be fantastic. Relationsip advice or something like that would be good, too.

I would like more webisodes like The Goddess Challenge and the one you did in Alaska. I would love that, Before and Afters are my favorites, like Clean House and What not to Wear.

You have given me more courage than you will ever know. I am a married mother of three little ones and have always been in the corporate world, which makes me crazy. I have always been good with people and love to give inspiration to women who feel tapped out. Through cosmic changes I have been blessed enough to stay home with my children, (which I love) but feel there is more I could do. Then I purchased your dvd set and began the art of bellydance; it is better than therapy. I know in my heart and through prayer becoming an instructor is what I was meant to do. I want to encourage and celebrate women. There are times I am a little discouraged due to the money but you know what they say, when a door shuts another one opens. I am letting nature takes it course and can see light. Please continue everything you do, you give women inspiration everywhere. Blessings and peace.

Gosh, all of the above! I still would like to see a presentation on belly dance movement for the mobility impaired - from just "shot knees with limited endurance" to wheel chair bound. Physical therapy, although necessary and beneficial, is just not inspiring nor spiritual.

I love you!!! I would love to see more webisodes. I enjoy them and love hearing what you have to say. Personally I just got out of a marriage and moved to a new state where I am basically starting over. I am trying to find a job and not having much luck. Advice on how not to let that get me down would be great.

First of all let me just say that I LOVE your dvd series for bellydance. I always look forward to doing them and feel great afterwards. Like a Goddess! I look forward to more! I would like to see more dance moves and fitness tips and I agree with the posters above- I enjoy watching webisodes on occasion (maybe some 'specials'???). Maybe some health/beauty tips? I know I am always looking to learn more about that. ~~~Beauty tip of the week!~~~ Healthy but 'delicious' recipes. How about something that educates and promotes personal spiritually as well. Looking forward to more from you! :)

I am going through a "slumpy frumpy" phase. Popping in the veil workout dvd has really given me inspiration to want to look hot. I love how the moves make me feel like I have power to do whatever the hell I want. Thanks again <3 <3 <3
