Timeline of women's suffrage (right to vote) by country

This is the timeline by country of when women got the right to vote. Some might come as a surprise, such as Switzerland: in 1971 and Kuwait in 2005!  It’s shocking how recent the modern history of the woman’s right to vote is, considering how long white men have been voting. How proud I am of the women who had the courage to fight for all ofus.
